Neighbors, Friends and Community Organizations Rally & Intervene in Court on Rosemary Williams’ Eviction Case

 

Wednesday, April 22nd

 

9:30am – Press Conference                              10:30am – Eviction Summons Court hearing in Room A1700

At Hennepin County Courthouse                               GMAC Mortage LLC Vs. Rosemary Williams

300 S. 6th Street (one-way going east) at 3rd Ave. S.

Rosemary’s home at 3138 Clinton Ave. S. is being foreclosed on and she is refusing to leave! The city has been cleaning up her block (where she has lived for over 50 years) in preparation for her eviction day. She recently received a notice of her court-date TAPED to her front door! At the hearing the judge is likely to give her an order to vacate her home. OR-especially if lots of supporters show up on Wednesday, the judgeMAY grant her more time to renegotiate. But if the eviction order is given, join MN PPEHRC and others in helping Rosemary stay in her home on eviction-day!
