HELP COMMEMORATE THE STRIKE THAT
MADE MINNEAPOLIS A UNION TOWN
2009 marks the 75th anniversary of the 1934 Minneapolis Truckers’ Strike, a strike that made Minneapolis a union town and changed the face of the national labor movement.
The One Day in July Committee is organizing a street festival of music, speakers, food and community outreach to commemorate this historically significant action.
You are invited to an open committee meeting on Saturday, March 28. We welcome all who are interested in participating in the planning and build-up of the festival.
