In the midst of the greatest economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s, the rich are using the economic crisis as cover for attacks on poor and working people.

Millions of homes are in foreclosure. Unemployment is growing. Massive cuts are taking place to the programs that benefit poor and working people. Inequality grows, as African-Americans, Chicanos, Latinos, and other oppressed people, are the hardest hit by all these attacks. Immigrant workers face mass firings, raids and deportations.

The rich and powerful are waging a war on working people, but we are fighting back. Join us for a discussion with leaders of movements resisting the savage attacks on workers, students, the poor, women, and oppressed nationalities across the United States. Together we can make a difference and build a more powerful fight back.
