I'm working on a follow-up on the judicial decision to stop drilling in Alaska's northernmost waters, pending a more thorough Enviornmental Impact Statement.

Some Democrats are pushing for a torture inquiry.   There has been a call for a special prosecutor to investigate the war crimes of the Bush Administration.  I support a move to charge the decision makers and enablers of the Bush Regime with war crimes, but why bother with an investigation when a simpler solution is available?  Why not torture them instead?

Freedom of the press is a constitutional right Americans hold dear. For many it is perceived as a liberty every person should have the freedom to express and is a facet and symbol of our culture itself. Often referred to as the fourth branch of government or the fourth estate most people believe journalists rights to go on the record with what they know to be protected by law. Most Americans simply take for granted journalists are sources of independent information and believe they express the first amendment when many of us feel we can't.

It started off with the assassination of a popular president, possibly by George Bush Sr. and is now ending with the assassination of the Constitution by George W. Bush, the alleged assassin's son. Along the way we had corrupt Lyndon B.

There is no better time than right now to support the case for impeachment against George Bush and Richard Cheney. There is no better time to stop supporting the myths we tell ourselves and each other on why we, the people, should not act against tyranny and aggression. There is no better time than right now to begin building the case for prosecution of war crimes.
